I appreciate Peter’s share on Buddha at the Gas Pump interview; it was something like: Instead of trying to escape from painful feelings, go the other way, embrace the painful feelings. This allows healing… It was something like that.
In my experience, when I open to the pain, I have found that it morphs into its unified, undivided nature. It has never worked for me to resist, try to control, or try to make it go away. I’ve tried that. However, the times I have surrendered, fully feeling fear, anxiety, or whatever, it has dissolved into its higher state, like fear dissolving into peace and clarity. I never know what will happen until I surrender.
Anyway, great teaching / interview on Buddha at the Gas Pump. Thank you.
March 11, 2017 at 5:23 PM #2674That’s really beautiful, Susan. You naturally do what life has always guided us to do, but the conditioned mind in most has us turning away from this into more suffering. It took me most of my life to learn what seems to have come naturally to you. How wonderful! I am very happy to hear this. Thank you.
March 11, 2017 at 6:10 PM #2678Thank you Peter; yes it is becoming more natural now for me to be present rather than avoid, however it has been through years of trial and error, resisting, and finally realizing there is no way I can outrun my own shadow so-to-say. And even the ability to surrender seems to be grace —hard to explain –sort of paradoxical. If I choose to surrender to get a desired outcome, then surrendering doesn’t work. It’s like the ego can’t outsmart God/Reality. If I have come to a place to truly, authentically, sincerely surrender, and go into the pain, the darkness, the fear, and become very intimate with what I want to run from, then everything changes…and in its own process and timing.
Your interview with Rick is one I will listen to again… so many helpful insights. I really appreciate the transparency, naturalness, love and wisdom that you spoke with. The transmission spoke so well to the journey and paradox of awakening. I am grateful for it.March 11, 2017 at 8:36 PM #2701Thank you, Susan. I am very grateful that you have this experience now. It is so in alignment with truth. It’s true if we expect to get something, we never do. Full hearted surrender seeks nothing. Yet then everything is received. It’s a strange paradox for the conditioned mind. Yet this is exactly how it works. The best way approach it is with a mind that is always empty of conceptual knowing. Life is always taking care of us. When we surrender fully, this becomes very clear. Life is so much easier than we make it through our imagined need to control. And so much more beautiful.
November 5, 2018 at 5:17 AM #5470Hey, these are really great thoughts that you shared. It is very important in life to have a positive way of living. Life puts us in very challenging situations that are difficult to overcome. Many people do take the helpful hints from the voyance direct psychic who provide guidance to channelize the positive energy in the right direction.
