Be Still
This is the only real spiritual practice.
Be still.
If you think you are being still or you experience stillness, stillness has not yet been reached because there is still a you who experiences or is aware of stillness.
This you is the obstacle between you and stillness.
In reality, there has never been a you, a self. There is only ever stillness. You may call it God or the Self. It does not matter. It has no name. Names only appear in the dream of a self.
People think that meditation or mantra or devotion are spiritual practices, but these are only practices of the ego, for there is still someone, the ego, doing the practices. These are practices of a dream, in a dream, for a dream self. As long as there is a doer, an experiencer, a perceiver, a self doing spiritual practices, it will only ever be a dream, and no progress toward awakening will be possible.
The very idea of practice is an illusion. There has only ever been the perfect bliss of Stillness, God, or Self. There is no one to practice, and nothing to practice, nor anything to practice for, just as there is no path. All of this is a dream distracting us from the One Reality that is always here.
So, just be still.
Let the dream of you go.
Don’t ask how to be still, as if there were a method to reach stillness.
Stillness is always here.
You are not. You are just a dream.
Let the dream of you go, and you will realize stillness alone is always here.
Be still.
That is all.
Be still.
Infinite Wisdom of your True Nature

In this video of a Wednesday night Satsang, we explore the infinite wisdom that is our True Nature. I love answering people’s questions, as you may know, but we all have access to unlimited wisdom by simply returning to the silence and stillness of our True Nature. In this Satsang and guided meditation, I help you return to your True Nature where all questions can be answered.
This video is from Facebook Live, where I just began offering Satsang. You can attend now on Facebook Live, the Zoom meeting room or at the Sedona Zendo. A wealth of options. Hope to see you here.
Pain – Meditation and Practice
Dealing With Pain – Guided Meditation and Practice
A powerful and effective guided meditation for dealing with pain. All bodies will experience pain at some point in their lives. Is it possible to have chronic pain and not suffer? Yes. Changing your attitude to pain changes your experience of pain.
Here’s a powerful yet simple practice that will help you do it. I was inspired to create this video for my son Noah, who just had hip surgery in India and is undergoing persistent pain during his recovery. This is a very effective practice I learned over years as a healer and someone with a human body.
It’s a practice and also a guided meditation so you can see how to do the practice. It’s very simple but it can be life changing. Since it is a practice, it gets better the more often you do it. If you have chronic pain, you have the best opportunity to do the practice. When you become proficient at it, it will change the way you deal with any pain for the rest of your life. It’s a whole new experience sitting in the dentist chair.
